EMMYLOU is Adopted!
We pulled her 2 months ago from NYCACC with a severe case of pneumonia. Thank you to everyone who donated for her vet bill.
Great life to our baby

Biscuit, Fully Recovered and Taking a Nap Between Kisses
From Biscuit's new Family:
"Hi Rhoda!
Wow! What a difference a couple days makes. He is healing so fast and I can barely see his little wound. He is such a good boy and barely messed with it, which means we don't have to put him in a cone. I really really didn't want to have to do that.
I having a hard time keeping my cool about how cute this dog is. Poor guy is probably tired of me kissing him constantly."
Jersey Girl Brandy (Was Lola)
Brandy (Loli) is doing great! She's all ready turning into a "Jersey Girl" and is even getting used to walking on grass. She's doing well with our furry neighbors as well as dogs we meet during our walks.
We are incredibly bonded and have our daily routines. She has made my house a home again, and for that I am grateful to you and Woof Rescue.
All my best,
Gayle

Allie Ushers her Family Through a Time of Sadness
Dear Rhoda and Woof Dog Rescue,
David is out of town, and Allie and I are having a girl's night out(side)!!! You can see she is staring into the distance...she's watching Riley's every move. We sadly had to say goodbye to Mowgli, our corgi, who managed to achieve a ripe old age of 17. Riley, as I think I've told you, takes these passings pretty hard. Allie has watched over him so carefully in the last few days since Mowgli parted ways with this world. She has stayed close and tended to his sadness. She's been such a mom. I thank my lucky stars she's in our life. Thank you Rhoda and thanks to Woof Dog Rescue for entrusting us with her well being. But truth be told, it's us she looks out for!!
Hope all is well with you Rhoda!! We think of you so often! X
Tucker Continues to Thrive
More photos of Tucker and his new Family
Hi Rhoda and Barbara! Hope all is well. We took this great family photo with Grayson over the weekend at Hudson River Park during BarkPost's BarkBistro event, and thought we'd send it along. Although Gray is pretty shy around other dogs and didn't enjoy that aspect of the gathering, he certainly enjoyed his free treats and toys!
G is doing great with the baby. A little afraid of her, but that works for us. Good that he knows who's boss!
Bonnie inspires a Tattoo - WOOF! Rescue Update
Bonnie is STILL AMAZING! We really can't imagine our lives without her- seriously! And I don't think our families could either! Our parents have fully embraced her as their grandpuppy. Actually, my husband and I recently had to go on a short trip and my inlaws begged if they could babysit her.
She is still happy, healthy and super spunky! She's just the sweetest thing ever. She greets everyone with kisses and butt wagging and immediately tries to sit in their lap to get as close as possible to them to show them how much she loves them. Whenever we run into old neighbors their first question is to ask "how is Bonnie?".
I'd be lying if I said we had't spoiled her a bit but we really wouldn't have it any other way. Our nightly routine is to say "time for bed" and she follows us into the bedroom and jumps into bed and immediately burrows under the covers! My husband adores her so much he recently got her tattooed on his leg eating her favorite human food- pizza (we only give her the crusts).
I've included some pictures that I hope make you smile. We really can't thank you and your rescue for all you did for her. She really is everything to us!
Best,
Brett, Kim and Bonnie
Update on Peanut Butter
We just had a party to celebrate the Butter Bean’s third adoptaversary. I wanted to let you both know he’s doing very well. He’s truly embraced the So Cal lifestyle – walking up Mt. Hollywood (albeit slowly), going to the dog beach, and chilling out under his favorite palm tree in the back yard. Weight is still a constant struggle (18 lbs is as good as it gets) but other than the occasional skin irritation he’s such a good and happy go lucky dog. I hope you ladies are well and still doing wonderful works for all those deserving pups waiting for their furever homes! Cheers from Butter, Angus, Oliver and all the two legged Shiposh’s!
A few greys are starting to show but he still thinks he a young pup
