Lulu (previously Betsy) Adjusting to her new Family
From Betsy's - renamed Lulu - new Family:
Lulu is adjusting and certainly knows (from the picture I just sent you) that this is her home and we are a family. It's so wonderful. She has warmed up our lives immeasurably. The blizzard was her first weekend here. It was something else. She seems to have gotten over her terrors and leaks a little when nervous. Her nails are getting cut every 3 weeks and she has had 2 baths. She's great with baths! Now that the weather is better she's getting more exercise. I see how the crate situation traumatized her. She likes to poop through fences. Probably always will unless there is some neat dirt around. She needs to get her teeth done. It's always a scary situation with the anesthesia. I had a friend who lost her dog that way. I have gone to 5 vets from 72nd street to 95th Street. Will decide next week. I will send you a few more shots of her. We will get together in warmer weather. I'm around most weekends for dog walks . The work you and Woof are doing is incredible. Hats off and hearts out to you.

Fun at the Dog Run for Eden
From Eden's New Family:
Eden had been doing so well with other pups we decided to give the dog run a go. She's not quite ready for lots of dogs running around at once, but we'll work on it.
Came home, had the run of the apartment, and, well, happy puppy is happy
Name That Cat! (Contest)
We rescued this adorable little guy just a few days ago! While he settles in with his foster parent, we need to find him a suitable name to match his splendid character. Take a look at his photograph and tell us what you think it should be. We'll announce the winner along with his new name next week!
Update from Allie (Boop Boop)'s Forever Family!
Just a reminder of how much we love our "Allie Boop Boop". We call her "Boop Boop" because when she's excited and happy
she bounces up and down like a crazy woman and we call it "boopbooping"! Honest, she makes us so unbelievably happy!
We'll never stop being grateful. Thank you ❤️
Tucker's new forever family writes:
"Tucker is truly amazing! He has the best disposition. He is loving and loves to be loved and his antics make us laugh. He hasn't been left alone and he warms up to everyone in the house. Tucker is really blending in to the family and everyone who has met him loves him. Our daughter Millie will meet him this weekend and she can't wait. He is such a cute dog! We are so fortunate that he had Woof during those weeks, to teach him love and caring."
From Charlotte's new Forever Family!
She cuddled all nite, I couldn't roll over. She is so submissive you would never know what she has been through. She won't leave my side, I love her already.
Tucker Gets Comfortable in his New Home!
From Tucker's new Forever Family...
"Tucker settled down in the car and was wonderful for the ride. Of course everyone couldn't wait to meet him. He is getting used to stairs and right now we are on the couch together watching TV. I honestly think he will be so happy to get lots of attention and love. Thank you for being so good to Tucker. It was hard for him to leave you but the care and love you gave him really means so much. We will let you know how he is doing. Thanks!"

A New Family for Lulu
From her new family:
"Lulu is doing great! She has bonded with our other dog, Cloudy, and they both sleep with us. When I take them out in the morning Lulu likes to sleep late, so when I tell Cloudy “let’s go out” he runs to wake her up, and she comes.
She and the cat, Pickles, are a bit suspicious of each other, but their relationship continues to improve, and you should see the three of them chasing each other around the apartment. However, Lulu does not know what to make of our tortoise, Henry, and barks at him suspiciously.
We love her and, I think she knows it. Thank you!"
Betsy is ADOPTED!
Betsy went to her forever family and will live on the Upper West Side of Manhattan! She had a long journey that has ended in a wonderful home where she can start her new life.
Great life to our baby!
Ellie Settles in with her new Forever Family
From her forever family:
"We've heard there are no perfect dogs but Ellie is pretty darn close. We are so happy we took the plunge and adopted her. We've only had her for a short time but we can't imagine our lives without her already. Thanks to Woof! Dog Rescue for rescuing her! "
