Meet Maggie May, a 6 to 7 year old sweet and chubby 9 lb. Chihuahua. She’s very good natured and affectionate, and loves to sleep with her foster dad. She’s a smart little girl who is learning commands, and is usually a pretty relaxed pup. She’s wee-wee pad trained and housebroken. She doesn’t bark much, except when someone comes to the door, and is very content just hanging out. Maggie May has had all her shots, is microchipped and tested negative for heartworm. She’s still dieting to lose her belly weight, but is a happy girl nonetheless. However, she’d be happier to have a forever family to love.
Meet our new rescue cat, Wanda. This lovable petite girl has an incredible personality. Her foster mom describes her as "the sweetest, snuggliest, softest marshmallow cat ever." She absolutely loves the little kids in her foster home and she's super easy to handle. She even purred at the vet's office! Wanda is playful and cuddly but she's not a nag at all, and is also happy to hang out on her own. We suspect that this girl is about 4 or 5 years old. She’s healthy and spayed. Could you provide Wanda with a lifetime of love that she so deserves?
Meet our sweet boy Jude! He’s a 9 years young, 8 lb. Yorkie found as a stray and brought to the NYC shelter. It hasn’t hindered his spirit one bit. He loves his walks and outdoor adventures. He jumps with excitement when his leash is taken out. Jude loves other dogs and meeting new people, but we think he’ll do best in a home without children. He is housebroken and wee wee pad trained, loves treats and likes to curl up with his foster mom on the couch. He is somewhat hard of hearing and also seeing impaired in his one eye because of dry eye, and he will require daily eye drops. He is otherwise healthy, vaccinated and microchipped. He has already been neutered and has had dental work. We are taking applications now on our website: www.woofdogrescue.com. Is Jude your new best friend?
Meet Sonny, a 4 year old sweet and friendly tabby looking for his forever home. He was surrendered to the city shelter because his owner was moving and could no longer care for him. We couldn’t let this little boy go, so WOOF rescued him and have watched Sonny thrive in his foster home. Sonny is living with a dog with no issues. He’s a hearty eater and litter box trained. He loves attention, and doesn’t like to be picked up, but does like to sit on laps and cuddle in bed at night. He will make a great companion -- he loves people and gets very attached. Sonny is vaccinated, recently neutered and healthy.
