Breed: Shih Tzu
Weight: 12 pounds
Meet Cole. He's around four or five years old and is a 12 lb. Shih Tzu. He was turned into the city shelter by his previous owners, but was lucky enough to be saved by Woof Rescue. His coat was matted and knotted, so the groomer shaved it off, but he’ll be even more adorable when it grows back. Despite his personable nature, he will do best with parents who have previously owned a dog. When someone pets him and makes him happy, Cole emits the cutest purr noises and he'll run your way if you ask for kisses. All of this transition has left him a little protective of his food and toys, but he's certain to become more relaxed as he settles into a warm, loving home.
