Breed: Poodle mix
Weight: 20 pounds
I’m Skye, a loving Poodle mix recently rescued from my owners before being turned into the shelter. I’m around 9 years old and 20 lbs. I was in horrible condition when WOOF rescued me. My foster immediately took me to the groomer for a badly needed bath and shave down. Now you can see my sweet face since I no longer have uncomfortable matting, knots and dirt. Yes, I’m a bit chunky from no exercise and only eating leftover scraps, but my foster mom is providing a healthy diet and nice long walks in the park, and I feel a bit of a waist coming on already. I’ve already had my rabies and bordetella vaccines, and will soon be spayed and have my teeth cleaned so I can greet visitors with a sparkling smile. I need a wonderfully nurturing and caring home so I can share all my love with a new family. Are you the one?
Weight: 10 pounds
Meet Woof’s new rescue girl, Cassie. She’s one and a half years old and 10 lbs. pounds of cuddly love. Cassie simply can’t resist snuggling all night with her foster mom. Coming from a rough early life, she’s still a bit fearful but has never shown any aggression. She has lost some fur in various spots – most likely from stress – but it’s already starting to grow back with the love, good nutrition, and wonderful care in her foster home. When Cassie goes to her forever home, she’ll be more beautiful than ever. Cassie is spayed, has all her shots and recent dental work, has been heartworm tested negative, and is microchipped. This sweet girl is certain to relax when she’s safe in her forever home. Cassie is waiting for a family who will be patient, kind, and give her lots of love. Could that be you?
Meet Sonny, a 4 year old sweet and friendly tabby looking for his forever home. He was surrendered to the city shelter because his owner was moving and could no longer care for him. We couldn’t let this little boy go, so WOOF rescued him and have watched Sonny thrive in his foster home. Sonny is living with a dog with no issues. He’s a hearty eater and litter box trained. He loves attention, and doesn’t like to be picked up, but does like to sit on laps and cuddle in bed at night. He will make a great companion -- he loves people and gets very attached. Sonny is vaccinated, recently neutered and healthy.
